I wanna make $10,000 this weekend
So I think I'm gonna get a hotel for the first time ever and stay up here all weekend since its the last weekend before school starts. I'm playing 2/5 now with a few unknowns plus John H and this other reg. I'm on the 5/10 list just because I see this crazy african guy that everyone's been talking about. Hopefully I get at his table but if I don't then I'm not sure if I'll play 5/10 for too long. The action just doesn't look really good. But hey, if I wanna make 10 g's then I need to move up.

I should have turn around
I got here earlier this evening and all the games looked so dead. I told everyone I was thinking of driving straight back to garland. I stayed anyway cause there's no way I'm driving an hour and a half for nothing.
I was supposed to be on this thing typing out interesting hands but I kind of forgot to plus it was pretty boring anyway. But there was this one hand where I had k3 in the BB and it checked around with like 2 more limpers. Flop came KJK. SB leads out for like 20. Call! Turn blank. sb checks, I bet 35ish. He starts cutting out chips, and I insta muck. He flips over J7 and says "I was just playing lol I was gonna fold." Never doing that again.
5:45am - Making way too many mistakes. First, there was this one hand where I was trying to multitask between the hand and talking to someone on facebook about the action at winstar/dallas games. I flopped an OESFD and when face with a $30 bet, I for whatever reason said, "I double it" lol. I never min raise and that was a dumb time to do it if I was going to. He called, the turn was sort of a blank but it also gave me a pair, so I shoved all in for like 1.5 times pot I think. I don't even know what the pot was cause I was focused on facebook. He called with AT top pair and I bricked the river. That was just silly. I probably could have taken it down on the flop if I had made my normal raise to like $120.
Then there was this hand where I had Q9 on a board of 7TJ. It's a limped pot and I am in BB. I check raise the button's bet from $15 to $60. Turn is a 9. I bet $100, he calls. River is an 8, so 7TJ98. This is usually a spot where I would over bet the pot regardless of what I have. But this time I was just happy that I completed my straight so I didn't take the time to even see that there was 5 to a straight on the board. If I did I would have shoved. Instead I bet $200 when we both had like another $90 behind. The whole point of me topping off 5 min earlier for another $100 was so I could make another $100 in a spot like this! Come on man!
I'm at about $1k, and I'm in for $1400 so I'm not that far down, and if I'm lucky I can even make a profit in this game. Edit: Before I even got to finish posting this my stack is down to $800ish. Just let me get even.
6:58 - Check this out. I'm in the bb with 44. UTG limps, mp lag raises to $25. I call, UTG calls. Flop is 478cc. I check, he checks, lag checks.
Turn, off suit Q. I lead $75. UTG tanks for 20 sec and folds. Lag calls.
River, off suit 2. I bet $200, lag flats with AA
